Mi Ranchito Upland Embarks Upon Expansion - New Location Now Open

Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant & Cantina embarked on a journey to a new Upland location beginning in February 2016. The Mexican restaurant had its final day at the Euclid Ave spot Sunday, January 24, 2016.

After providing authentic Mexican cuisine at the original Upland venue for 30 years, the family-run restaurant opened at 1964 W. Foothill Blvd., Upland, 91786 in mid February 2016. Located on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and Central Ave.

Nancy Macias, the restaurant's co-owner and general manager of the new Upland location said she and her family are thrilled to have purchased the relatively new building to move into.

The new location is bigger and better, with a larger parking lot, expanded separate bar and beautiful outside patio. And of course, more televisions to watch your favorite sporting events.

Mi Ranchito will be adding new specials from the grill, including mesquite chicken and carne asada. The bar includes ample space for more draft beer with enough handles to rotate some crafts. Mi Ranchito has built a reputation for its amazing Margaritas, and more hand-crafted options have been added to the menu.

“Business has been great at our current location,” said Macias. “We’ve been looking for an opportunity to expand and provide a better experience to our faithful customers of 30 years.”

The Upland location is one of three locations the Macias family operates.

Mi Ranchito's La Verne and Chino locations remained open during the time that the new Upland locale made its transition.

The authentic Mexican cuisine comes from deep roots. They have been focusing on traditional, quality food since the 1970’s when founders Antonio and Sara Macias first opened its doors in Ontario. The family chain has been built on the same recipes and commitment to using the freshest ingredients. The Chino & Upland locations emerged in the 80’s, followed by the La Verne location in the mid-90’s.

“We are so thankful to all of our customers for their 41 years of patronage and for being part of the Mi Ranchito family. We look forward to seeing our faithful customers at our new Upland location,” said Macias.
